DONATE
In partnership with Generosity Water, we plan to raise enough funds to bring clean drinking water to Josue's village of Lasource, Haiti. To donate click the link below and choose "LASOURCE WATER PROJECT" from the drop-down menu under "Categories & Funds". To insure that your money goes to the right place, please don't forget that last step. Another way you can help is to purchase the retail version of The Philosopher Kings DVD of which a portion of the proceeds is donated to Josue's cause.

A NOTE FROM THE FILMMAKERS
Thanks for stopping by this section of the website. As we travel around the country screening the film, we're continually asked about how people can get involved in the work being done in Lasource, Josue's Lajeunesse's village in southern Haiti. We are incredibly inspired by Josue and his efforts to bring clean water to the 3,000 people of Lasource, which is why we've partnered with our friends at Generosity Water to raise the support to construct the wells and cisterns needed to provide clean water to the people of Lasource. Please consider clicking the Generosity Water logo above to make a tax-deductible contribution to the work being done in Lasource. Please remember to choose "LASOURCE WATER PROJECT" in the drop-down menu under "Categories & Funds". To see photos of Lasource, visit our Facebook page - become a fan while you're at it!

Thank you,
Patrick & Greg

SOME FACTS ABOUT THE WATER CRISIS
  • Nearly 1 billion people around the world do not have access to clean drinking water.
  • Unsafe water and lack of basic sanitation cause 80% of all sickness and disease, and kill more people every year than all forms of violence, including war.
  • Of the 42,000 deaths that occur every week from unsafe water and a lack of basic sanitation, 90% are children under 5 years old
  • Providing clean water is the 1st step to bringing a village out of extreme poverty. Once a community has clean water, the kids can go to school, the adults can work and produce income, and less people will get sick and go to the hospital.
